I'm in the last arc now. Kinda dissapear
So it seems like the seven prince of hell will appear in the series, Lucifer and Mammon already make their entrance, this makes me so excited
BUT! Why the author must make brand new characters as their host?? It feels like suddenly some ridicilous strong characters come from middle of nowhere. Seriously, this is cheap for me. Why not give those powerful overlord class demon to more established characters like the Touhoushinki (Kanzaki, Himekawa, Kunieda, Toujo)?
It feels lame to just give the King Crest (seal of loyalty) to them, it's more like they become Oga's lackeys meanwhile unkowns characters given equal power to demon like Beelzebub. It doesn't do justice for the Touhoushinki, they are there since the beginning and deserve more appreciation
Maybe the author want to give refreshing wind? That's not how to do it with this series, characters like Kanzaki, Himekawa, Kunieda, Toujo is well written, they are not boring at all, they deserve power on par with demon overlord than characters from middle of newhere. It feels lame to suddenly unknown new characters take over panels and become important information the last arc of the series
Well with that being said.. it doesn't mean the author treat the Touhoushinki like shit, he still give them moments to shine BUT still lame
