To get myself prepared to watch the newest addition to the code geass series, the fourth movie Re;surrection, I first watched the three movies, Initiation, Transgression and Glorification. While it was great rewatching most of the epic moments of the anime turn into movie format, sadly these three movies were kind of a waste of time. Their main point was to undo a certain death in the anime, they left a bunch of stuff out due to time constraints and with said character now alive, they did very little with.

I would have love watching these in the theater, but I could have passed watching them and I can't stress enough that anyone new to the series should not watch these, watch the anime instead as it has a lot more details and also kept some scenes better with their epic music.

These three movies are exactly the same, just minus Shirley's death.

i don't want to watch it then. i can only take so many deaths.
