You got your answer already! But oh well..here is the brief description... type regedit.exe, in the start menu. Then expand," HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE", after that expand "software", and then "Microsoft" and then "windows", after that "current version",after that "explorer".... then at last....you will come across a folder called "Shell Icons"(if it's not there..just create one..I will explain how later..i don't think it's absent in your system though.) Anyway select that "shell icon".. right click on the right side of the regedit panel..and select the new option, after that key..give it a name "3"...then click on that newly formed one and click on modify...in the data field give the complete path to your "ico icon" Viola...that's it ^-^ Hope this helps a little.If you need anything else...feel free to contact me again ^^ P.S. this changes the default folder icon.
