A colleague who joined before me got a new car for 2.3 lakhs. well he tried very hard to save up and it's his dream. 
I wonder how long it would take for me to get one with my own salary. Anyone got one with your own salary here?

I only make about 10k here in the states and just about paid off my 22k car. Though its mostly due to me just sitting home at nights doing nothing. Not drinking/smoking helps as well.

What's the car you got? I can think of several models that about sums up with the money you paid. I would love to look at some pictures if it's not too much to ask.
