i mean most of the people think bl is not for others
like seriously it's prejudiced lol and i don't get why people look down on guys watching bl.
 
Tbh most people’s experience of BL is through the annoying fangirls and how they have to ship the male characters in every show they watch. “Omg did you see that look Vegeta gave Goku before he went Super Saiyan? He knows Goku is a power bottom”. If your only experience are those types of people, it’s really off putting.

BL is also usually portrayed as fanservice, and kind of smutty, so it’s viewed on the same level as the ecchi shows for guys.

For guys not liking it, straight guys aren’t interested in watching two dudes making out with each other. It’s just facts.

i know some fundanshis personally.
they are straight but they like bl because if you see guys in anime and manga , they are usually not butch and all and they are so pretty and beautiful
and we fan girls really needs to stop that stuff. it makes others hate the genre in general

lol except for the voice all of them got beautiful faces
and bl isn't about romance always and an anime hardly got one kiss unless it's yaoi.
 
I don't hate any genre.
Still, for me it's all about my preferences and all. Nothing more and nothing less when it comes to anime too.
 
lol star if you put it that way i can't say much
i know too many people who try to downplay bl and other genres and call others who enjoy those genres as weirdos. i am too sensitive about this subject lol
