Can Luffy take down kaido?

After seeing luffy's powers, I am having second thoughts.
He couldn't defeat big mom and she is very strong. If kaido is like that, he doesn't stand a chance against him

it's not possible but he is determined that kaido will be going down and did you forget about law and his crew? they would be joining hands with luffy to take kaido down.
