can i write my own stories online?

sometimes i have this urge to write something magnificent but it will be a shitty piece and i will lose interest in it.
if it online if i get feedback from the story time and again, i might complete one magnificent piece just like i dreamed.
do you think it's a good idea?
what if someone else copies my work?
do you write stuff online?

If you want to publish something with a publishing house, don't post it online before publishing it because it will generally be considered previously published, and literary journals don’t want previously published writing.
