Can anime go too far?

Most of us know situations where something crosses the line.  What would be the case with anime?  Did the event make you stop watching anime or perhaps a certain part of anime?   Do you think people who react to offensive anime are too sensitive?

I don't mind anything, really, and I'm not offended or triggered, no matter what happens. The only things that can make me drop something is if the story or dialogues suck.
The only instances where I can say I dropped an anime other than the reasons mentioned above are probably High School DxD, and Eromanga-sensei. I thought the dialogues and the characters were bad, but the stuff in there, concerning Ecchi, etc., were too much for me.

Anime is art so I don't think it should offend anyone.

I haven't been offended by any anime per se but I did drop fairy tail because of the plot holes and asspulls lol.

There are anime that offends people. There are racist anime and some anime makes a note that only Japan is having trouble from other countries. Always the damsel in distress.

Japan is massively hated in China and Korea (north and south).  However, though, the people do like the culture to some degree, except maybe in North Korea.

Korea imitated Japan. They have manhwa just like manga.

They may hate Japanese culture but they like them at the same time

they didn't imitate. comics are there from long back and if you take that, you could say that, japan might not be the original one who had created the manga.
