Can a remake actually replace old version for you when it comes to anime?

I am sure they wouldn't try to pick Naruto again and I wouldn't have the same ideas as before either.

I think it is meant to remain the same, their is no need to replace it, it will simply bear another extension name, and represent the original animé series.
