Bumping very old threads

Hello everyone,

Please try not to bump very old threads as some users might not like to see, very old threads that have many posts, in the recent posts list.
Well, it's not a restriction just a humble request.

Thank you,

Yours AMF team.

I think you too are guilty of this?

Not that much :D
As I said somewhere before, unless the threads are very generic threads, which can get some attention, I wouldn't bump them and I don't like recent posts getting messed up either. Also, V.I.P. forum doesn't count.

Hmmm I guess this is for me. Was just trying to find out more about the site. Also many posts are not very active and I am just trying to help with counts and also find out more about animanime and stuff.  Sorry that my curiosity offended you all

if they are good enough bumping them would create more active. i bumped many threads over the years and is this meant for me? i try not to bump threads much but i bump some when i try to keep my color.

It is not intended for anyone, Angel.
It is a generic thread and we are talking about bumping threads, which don't serve anything like the 'Thank you' and 'yes, I agree' posts we come across, in our community.

I get this but there are a lot of other users that may choose to make these posts more active than the new ones is all I am saying and also what is the harm of a new user asking about something they find in any thread? Is this not how we will get to know the site better?

See it's not only me. I mostly bump when trying to make count higher also and I don't think I bump irrelevant ones since they do become active

It's common forum decorum. An example the human plugin thread you commented on, was that really necessary...
Anyway, it'd be great if you could actually add to a discussion if it means posting on an old thread, is what I'm saying.
