Budget of anime

some anime have high budget but some money don't have much budget and get discontinued like ai no kusabi 2012. do you think it's fair? if an anime is announced, then isn't it that the manga or light novel is very popular?

Most anime don't have high budget. Budget doesn't have anything do to with the quality of the anime. It's about the talent of the animators, and the schedule. The reason why most anime look like shit is that the making is not scheduled properly, and they are not paid properly, so the animators are forced to over-work and churn out mediocrity.
The main reason why an anime adaptation based on a light novel or a manga is announced is because of marketing, to promote the manga or light novel.
Studios like Bones or Kyoto Animation however, adapt things with great passion, giving anime with phenomenal art and animation, and also making changes of their own to suit the visual medium in a better way.

is Anime International Company (AIC) a low budget company that doesn't plan well? i don't know much about these things work but cheap animation and anime getting discontinued is a bad thing.

It's not a production company, it's a studio, so the planning is probably not in their hands. Plus I haven't watched any anime made by them so I don't know.

Not everything is in the hands of animators.
Also, it depends on the work and the timeline as well, like Madarauchiha stated before.

So then do you mean to say that all animes come from a manga? Just asking

actually budget can affect a anime as they can use it to hire better animators. Plus if they got a decent budget that means the anime can finish properly, unlike some animes like how evangelion ended.

it was the one who discontinued ai no kusabi after picking it up again in 2012. it was disappointing and i wasn't expecting them to leave it like that.

Might also be because it didn't sell well.

it was made as a ova first and as it was very popular, they wanted to remake it completely again.
the first episodes are with great graphics but they stopped making it half way. if it's not popular they wouldn't start remaking it

i just couldn't accept that they dropped a good anime like ai o kusabi after picking it up.
if they didn't have money, they shouldn't have picked it up
