Browsing bots

Why do I see Google, Bing always browsing in the forum? Sometimes I see sougou, Google AdSense, Google AdWords too.Baidu also visits this forum.
I don't know if it is search engine or not

The bots go through the website, indexing any posts/articles so that they can be found through internet searches.

it's common knowledge. everyone knows it. they make sure that everything is good and they index it. i have been saying in many websites. even in yo they are always there

I wouldn't classify it as common, its only something one would know if they learn more about forums than a simple browsing user.
