he didn't have any friends when he first came to a town?
and he feels like everyone is laughing at fun for sitting alone and eating food by himself.
 
That sounds funny
Not everyone would mess their lives just because they don't have any friends.
 
probably not but not everyone is strong
and some things can make people do stuff and i am sure people are sensitive sometimes.
