Bloom Into You Manga vs Anime

Hi everyone!

I tried searching for this but nothing came up, so I hope this question hasn't already been answered somewhere.

Anyway, I recently watched Bloom Into You which I liked so much I was considering making it the first manga I've ever physically bought. However, I've also seen it said that there will likely be a second season (can anyone confirm or deny this? I'm sorry, I guess this is a question for both anime and manga, but I had to put it *somewhere*), and I would rather watch it in anime first.

So my question is this: how much of the Bloom Into You manga was used for the anime adaptation?

Thanks in advance!

PS: Please, no spoilers of anything that hasn't occurred in the anime yet! The entire reason I'm asking this is exactly *because* I don't want the manga to spoil me, after all.

There isn't that many chapters but if it doesn't get a season 2 I'll probably read it and keep up with it.

I don't really read much manga only if I really like the anime and want more straight away or it never gets more seasons.

i hear you.
i used to do that too. and its sad when an anime never gets a new season like bleach

Thanks! That was exactly the answer I was looking for! I guess I can at least buy the first few volumes without worrying about getting spoiled for a potential second season for now. =)

I usually don't, actually, but I've been considering buying BIY physically now.
supporting author by buying manga is great.
not everyone will do that and manga is always expensive to get
