This is about Scrapped Princess

In this series it was told that human's waging war with the Genesis alien. There was a woman named Celia and she have important position on human side. Her brother and sister was also participated on the Genesis war. This is where her feelings get the best of her, to prevent her brother and sister dying she betrayed human side and this is the direct cause human lost the Genesis war

Okay so i get it that protecting family is important, but to betray the entire human race is another level. It sounds bit silly to me because her brother and sister is a fighter that i assumed they ready to die on a war

Scrapped Princess is pretty good, been awhile since I watched it but I remember its heavy theme.
