So I finished another anime and this time it was on Blood Blockade Battlefront and I can't decide if its Kill la Kill with vampires or baccano!/Durararara!! with vampires. Either way, it's a pretty epic anime that I recommend and will make you laugh sooner or later.

Though I do recommend it and find it epic, I did find its plot a bit strange and hard to follow at times with some awkward moments in it. My main complaint would be that they tend to skip fights a lot in the series though if they do show a battle its pretty well done.

Anyone here see this anime?

I liked the first half, which was just a fun episodic action-comedy. But, I didn't like it as much when it started developing a plot involving those twins. It was fun to watch alright. Though, one great thing about this: the ending song. Sugar Song is perhaps the greatest ending song of this decade, probably all-time top 10 material. The visuals and the song match so perfectly.
I highly recommend the second season, because 10 of its 12 episodes are episodic and fun, really, really fun.
And, you know, it's a Studio Bones show, and they broke new grounds in animation with this series.

Great to hear that the second season is just as good, I hope to watch it soon.

I would say it's even better, but that's just my personal opinion. The ending can be a bit so-so.

meh, most animes stumble on the ending. As long as the journey there is great that is all that matters.

Yeah true, and it's not that it's bad. It's just that the first 10 are wacky and crazy, and it looked like Bones ran out of money in the last two, and it became a 'normal' anime.

That sounds very unfortunate, thats what sadly killed the end of the Evangalion tv series is lack of funding.
