The anime bleach is in it's final arc now according to kubo. We can expect Bleach anime to return, sometime in 2015(after the manga finishes).Even though this isn't officially announced yet, but it's almost certain that this anime might return in 2015 or whenever the manga ends.

The downfall of Bleach:

After the Aizen arc, bleach ratings had gone down. Even the plot isn't that interesting from that point on. Bleach's opening is one of the best openings I have ever seen. But because of meaningless fillers in the middle of nowhere and the way story dragged stating that Ichigo has shinnigami, hollow and then even quincy powers making him look like some invincible being, is too much for viewers to take in. Except for bounto powers he got most of the powers introduced in various arcs.(even a fullbringer power)

What do you need to do, for bleach to come back?

1.You have to support bleach by purchasing the manga, when it is available in your country.

2. By giving positive ratings to bleach anime.

3.Never lose hope :D

Those are things you have to do,if you are a bleach anime fan, to the core.

Well, I did hear rumors that Bleach would continue once Naruto ended, and the manga ends this year (making it so the anime soon follows afterwards).

Basically, the theory is that Bleach will replace the Naruto time slot on the channels in Japan.

However, since there is no official confirmation out yet on this, I am not believing it personally. Rumors like these always surface, and a lot of the times, the rumors are false.

That would make sense. Bleach is a lot more violent though, I wonder if they are targeting the same audience.
On the other hand Naruto series will probably go on for at least two years, won't it? Even if manga ends right now, they probably have enough material for a 100 episodes.

News doesn't necessarily have to be official announcements. The idea is to give our users any news or just to keep them up-to-date with everything.

Um, each episode covers about 2-3 chapters, and Hayate (anime director) already said that he plans on not having any more fillers. So I would guess no.

I know that, I never said otherwise.... No offense, but you're pointing out the obvious. I was merely stating my point of view on it.

Okay, that is interesting =) I had an impression that the show is really far from catching up to manga, but I didn't do a proper math on it ^^'

The anime is at the point where the four hokages are now on the battlefield. The episode this week will be Kakashi vs. Obito, where they will come back to the battlefield and the fourth hokage will stop Kakashi from killing Obito. This is chapter 636... and the chapters are currently at 690. So that is a 54 chapter difference. If each episode covers 2 chapters, then divide 54 by 2 and we get 27. So I would guess that in about 27 episodes, the anime will catch up to the current chapter, which in the current chapter, the war has ended. If an episode comes out every week, we'll get 27 episodes completed in about 7 months. Meaning the anime will be completed by the summer of 2015 (since 7 months is March, add on a few more months for the chapters yet to come, so I expect that in June or July of 2015, the anime will end).

Well, this is just my opinion, but I don't think that is too far behind from the manga.

Oh wow, the anime covered way more already than I thought it had O.o You calculation seem to be good, and you played it safe with 2 chapters per episode, if you plug in 2.5 or 3 the result can go as low as 18 episodes. I kinda wonder what will happen to sites like NarutoSpot when the show ends.

Well, average is 2 chapters, so I went off that. But I don't think an episode ever came out to cover 2.5 chapters... I dunno though.

I wonder too what will happen to NarutoSpot. It might stay open, it is a big anime with new fans coming in all the time. Guess we'll find out.

Not interested in it returning. For me, it ended when they defeated Aizen. Everything went to crap after that.

I see. But many bleach fans are waiting for it's return.
welcome to OPF :D
Make an introduction thread in greetings page :)

Bleach has so many strange turning points. I've presently heard people discussing it, they said that it begins like a ghost hunt story, they suddenly turns into a classic shonen fighting show. Later Kubo saved his day by suddenly inserting hogyoku plot line into the story, that thing lasted for a while. But really, I can't get mad at Kubo for making another weird plot twist, that is just the sort of thing he does with his manga =)

I just wonder, have you read Bleach manga past the Fullbringer arc?

I started to, yes. However, I got bored with the Fullbringer arc, and that ruined things somewhat for me, which in turn made me dislike the following arc so I stopped. Aizen was a good villian, for the most part. People complain it should've ended after the Soul Society arc, but I like how they continued it, personally.

Like I said though - after Aizen, it seemed to have gone downhill. Similar to how I think after this war in Naruto Shippuden, if there's some other bad guy worse than what's going on now, I'm gonna end up bashing my head on the table.

Yeah the Fullbringer arc was weak. I agree with the idea that Bleach would have been a better story if it ended after the Aizen defeat, but I also understand that Kubo wants the money, so I am not going to blame him on dragging it on. Though I wish he had taken his time and thought of a more natural way to continue the story. About the current arc, I liked the Yamamoto fight a lot, and there were a few other well done moments here and there. I stopped reading some time ago, but I'll come back to it.

Oh, if Naruto gets a new arch villain I will bang my head on the table a little bit too.

Oh I understand wanting to milk the series as much as possible. Who knows if he'll ever have another hit like Bleach? I agree though that it may have been a lot better if they had taken the time to think it out, and plan another final bad guy, much to, I'm sure, many people's dismay. :P

I'm glad I won't be the only one. To minimize cost, we can share a table to bang our heads on. Take it in turns, as it were. (:
