Best shojo anime which made you happy

I have ever enjoyed Skip beat
But when I re-watched it again, I have realized it's not much. So I can't really say much about this genre

It's a cool anime man and I think it's got something to do with your age too.

i think violet evergarden is more of slice of life.
you like her too much don't you. try watch fate/zero series.
 
I would recommend Fate/zero as a shojo series
It's more of an action series though the second season is not having much action.
 
Easy answer for me. Cardcaptor Sakura. Close to a perfect show and the animation is still incredible after 2 decades.

I haven't watched any musical other than Zombieland Saga and Kono Oto Tomare and while Zombieland Saga is brilliant it's probably not my answer here.
As for Madoka I don't exactly consider it Shoujo, and even among Magical Girls shows, I like Cardcaptor Sakura a lot more, even though Madoka is absolutely amazing.

i don't completely get you.
and i would say you probably did watch other musical anime but forgot about them. k on , akb0048, love live, school idol project, gravitation and there are may anime.

Madoka is not a traditional shoujo.
Cardcaptor Sakura is.
Both Madoka and Cardcaptor Sakura are Magical Girls show.
I like Cardcaptor Sakura more.

And I have not watched other musicals, I checked my MAL list. I've watched none of the anime you've listed.
