Best 'shojo' anime according to you?

what's the best shojo anime according to you?
i have to say clannad here lol and i can't think of anything else when it comes to shojo

i was so sure people would say madoka here
may be i thought of that as wrong? how come you like sakura madara? it's different from what i expected from you

I've mentioned multiple times that I love it. As for Madoka I like it lot but not as much as Sakura and I don't consider it a traditional shojo anime.

it is a typical shojo anime with some hard dark stuff in it.

but in mal and yo it's treated as seinen a lot
and on occasions, it's treated as shojo anime with horror element in it.

I’ve mentioned that MAL doesn’t always have the right information. For it to be a seinen or shojo anime, it has to be based off of a manga published in a seinen or shojo anime. If it wasn’t, it’s not. You can’t have something labeled with a manga demographic if it wasn’t originally a manga.

people treat webtoons, manhwa and manhua as manga too.
just that, it's how it is treated by most of the people i know.
