Basic idea of anime

I think I've watched enough different genres of anime to be able to make a selection based on people's likes and dislikes, yes. I have my own tastes of course, everyone does, but I can also be fair and objective enough to judge an anime on its merits and flaws - meaning I might like something and still be able to see it wasn't all that good.

As for me, I do believe I have watched enough anime to give some recommendations based on others preferences.

I certainly don't think I could really. I've only watched about 50 animes, if that. Most free time I have goes to playing games instead. I would try and give recommendations if someone asked me specifically, but I doubt I'll be any good. If they shared the same tastes as me, I could probably give at least one they would like.
 
Tricky question. I've seen enough anime, but a lot of it is old school stuff that maybe younger folks wouldn't be so hot on these days. The newer stuff I keep up with everybody seems to have seen or heard about already! haha :)

One Piece is a bona fide classic though. There's nothing old about having great taste in anime shows. ;) I'll be 37 in early October. How about you, Blackangel?

Yeah, it's hard keeping up with all the new series these days. Like if I went back to the 2015 anime season til now..there's probably over 100+ shows I could easily get dragged into. lol

We all know my extent of anime knowledge so this is a given answer.
I have recommended a few which I watched to others though but my answer to this is no

Well in some genres you might be right but remember I'm not much into the violence things so not in that category

i remember that sweetheart
and it doesn't have to be about such genres and you are still good with the genres you have.

Well in the case of slice of life and romance and a few yaoi I think I could recommend some good stuff
