this is fuked up. why the fuk didn't they make it a shonen ai anime? are they completely insane? they use shonen ai vibes for manga that are not shonen ai but try to hide shonen ai vibes from a shonen ai manga.
Banana fish is a shonen ai manga but not a shonen ai anime?

No it's not it's a Shoujo manga. It was serialised in a Shoujo magazine.

It's because Shonen Ai is usually targeted towards Fujoshis.
And Shoujo isn't a genre. Shoujo is basically any anime or manga made for young girls, just like how Shonen is any manga made for young boys.

i wanted banana fish to be a shonen ai, for it to have a good ending. i would probably read the manga after the anime ended. i am curious to know about the ending and i would hate it if it will be a tragic ending.
