Yea.. for me there is 4 kind of author, bad, so-so, good and great.
How do i classified them? Usually i read or watch a series with neutral feeling. If i don't like them then i'll brand the author as bad hahaha.. sounds evil and not fair, but who cares it's my standard
If the series is not that bad but not very good, then i'll brand the author as so-so. If i like the series i'll brand them good. When i see a good author, usually i investigate a bit about them, i look at the other series they made, if i like it then the author is great!
Going by my standard.. then even author like Akira Toriyama and Katsuhiro Otomo is just a good author haha.. well it is. But you should understand that this standard is to measure the author, not his work, like.. i like Katsuhiro Otomo's Akira, the story is very very epic, but unfortunately i only like Akira from him so i can't rate him as great
