Attack on Titan: No Regrets Anime's Promo Previews 1st Episode

The promotional video reveals that Koji Yusa (Zettai Karen Children, Black Butler) and Mariya Ise (Yes! Precure 5, Hunter × Hunter) will join the cast as Farlan and Isabel, respectively. The new anime will come on two new original animation DVDs that will be bundled with the 15th and 16th volumes of the main manga on December 9, 2014 and April 9, 2015, respectively.

Artist Hikaru Suruga and writer Gan Sunaaku launched this spinoff manga in Kodansha's ARIA magazine last fall, and Kodansha Comics is publishing it in North America. Kodansha Comics describes the story:

This prequel to megahit Attack on Titan answers the questions: How did Captain Levi of the Survey Corps go from street tough to humanity's strongest soldier? And how did Commander Erwin become a cold, calculating leader, ready to sacrifice anything to save the human race?

Just to be clear, that is an OVA and the events will be off the main story line. At least that is how I understand it.
