Bui. He's a minor antagonist on tournament chapter, he's one of Toguro's team member, the one with heavy armor and big axe. Well.. as a minor antagonist there is nothing much to say about Bui, only a little back story for formality, kinda bland character, even his fate is unknown, he's only there for some episodes and gone forever without that much significant impact to the storyline except to show that Hiei can absorb his dragon wave haha..
But there is one thing that caught my attention about Bui, it's his armor. His armor is for him to surpressed his own power! I feel like.. what?? That's mindblowing! I mean.. before that the concept of armor is to protect the wearer or to enhance their power, this is awesome concept. A powerful warrior that need to seal his own power, how cool is that? I know that even Krillin from DBZ can surpressed his own power, but it's different from DBZ series, in DBZ it's more like they can control their own power and they don't need medium to surpressing power, unlike Bui.
Of course something like this is not shocking anymore today, but back then it's a new thing for me
