i am not into gore anime where all the body parts are scattered all over.
i can't stomach those scenes.
i am not being a sissy or anything. i can't like suffering and what you guys think, i hate gore.

do any other guys share the same opinion as me?

inspite of gore, if my requirements are satisfied........Eg: Shingeki no Kyojin, Mirai Nikki, Psycho-Pass........And, that's why, I didn't like Hellsing Ultimate, because, it was too dry and was juz about mindless killing, in my opinion........

I don't watch much anime, actually. About the only anime that I'm familiar with is derived from the manga Bio-Booster Armor Guyver, which is like a violent version of Ultraman and Kamen Rider.

The OVA's in the early 1990s were probably pretty gory for their time, but aren't really much to write home about today. And the TV series was like a PG-13 rated version of the Power Rangers kinda. Even the manga's not particularly violent by today's standards.

Granted, Guyver being aimed at teens might have something to do with that.

not really, but if they are playing on toonami I will watch them. But if they tend to be epic (hellsing ultimate) then I will watch them.

i like power rangers too bro.
but not anymore after i get to know the anime xD

Not a ton. I'm only a bit familiar with some early 90's anime and manga from when Manga Entertainment started to become a big deal in the US. I did become a fan of Guyver because of that.

Oddly, at the time, nudity was a bigger deal. Viz (manga) and Manga (OVA) censored nude scenes. It was easy to do in context, but you see the girl in my avatar? That's Shizu, and in several scenes, she's nude in a processing tank. I wonder how Viz would've dealt with her nude breasts and pubic region (the latter isn't illustrated graphically, AKA Barbie doll anatomy) had they been able to license the manga that far into the storyline?

But Guyver, especially the OVA, I wouldn't show to anyone under the age of 13.

Gore scenes are ok with me, but if an anime series is focused exclusively on gore and the story is weak, then it's not really something I enjoy watching.

i like moderate gore but i am not into heavy gore. i don't stop watching an anime because of that but i don't want to watch, if it's not too bad.

I don't particularly like gore anime but if the plot is good like Tokyo ghoul, hellsing I wouldn't dislike it. I don't like anime with only massacre like deadman wonderland
