when it comes to anime, if you can just say who the voice actor is, does it make you a freak ?

Tbh it’s really not that hard to do. Especially because a lot of VA’s basically sound the same in a lot of their roles, and a lot also get typecasted to similar roles.

really? i think there are too many voice actors
and it's very difficult for me to actually differentiate one from another lol

There’s always a handful that show up in a ton of different shows, especially in the same genre. A ton of Romcoms and Harems all basically reuse the same handful of voice actors. I lost count of how many times the guy who voices Kirito is a harem protag.
