Yeah, no. Anime are created, like any form of entertainment, by genre - not by which type of characters they'll parade around (I'll admit that's not always a thing, but that's what ecchi and hentai are for). That's why Shonen and Shojo, Seinen and Josei are things. And even those are only general indicators by which age groups and genders are the show's main focus groups. I enjoy plenty of Seinen anime despite not being a guy.
Of course! Goku is the absolute stereotype of a shonen protagonist!
Do you really... watch Dragon Ball for its muscly main characters? Because that would be an absolute first for me. I mean, you'll never hear me judging a person for what they like for which reason, I just can't imagine watching something similar for a similar reason.
Fair enough - though I think unless you're watching ecchi or hentai, liking a character based solely on gender is a bit... iffy. But sure, why not?
Some men, yes, others not so much. Everyone has their own kinks.
What happens between the time you get turned on by something and the time you properly think about how you feel about being turned on by it is a mystery. Lust is rather irrational.
I think this is the kind of reply i was hoping for haha!HannahCN said:Wow there's a lot to unpack here...
