Both has some awesome romance.. Some cute doki doki stuffs.. Ao haru ride still gives an emotional roller coaster on a higher scale than Tonari.. Wish these two animes had season 2 and stuff cause they were so good.. Just cant stop re watching em'.. So whats your fav?
 
i haven't watched them both. after watching reading too many yaoi, i can barely stand straight romance but a good romance is good to watch even if it's still straight.

I agree.. Its a gooood romance.. No harem BS.. One is a straight forward guy and another one is a cold hearted but caring guy.. Whenever I see Haru from Tonari, his straight forwardedness amazes me a little bit.. Takes courage to say some things, he said blatantly.. In rl though.. Most likely thats gonna end up ugly when ya do that to a person whom ya barely know.. I like haru regardless.. Such a frank dude.

when i first read this, i thought you were talking about yaoi and talking about two guys. it took me some time to see that you are talking about two anime. what is the anime that you liked most?
 
Both of them are in my watchlist and I have been thinking of watching ao haru ride first . I am a sucker for good romance like vampire knight. I will be watching them very soon
 
I have My Little Monster in my watch list and I liked Ao Haru Ride. It does have quite a bit of teenage melodrama and tropes, but it's done suitably well.
