Anyone feel that we are watching the same game over and over again in sports anime?

Anyone could say the same for fighting animes. Fight, win, lose, train, fight and keep on winning.

The recent Captain Tsubasa series trying to break this formula, there are times when Japan actually lead and it's the opponent that trying to catch up the score

I haven't watched enough sports anime to say for certain, but I kinda can see this being the case... as Demon_skeith said it can be said also for things like fighting anime, so it's not a problem exclusive to the genre.
