what's there to not rate them? and it can help others knows that it can be a bad series

I kind of see both approachs.
On one side if I didn't see the whole series then my rating my not be seen as fair.
On the other hand if I didn't see the whole series is for a reason and so long it is clear for people checking the review when I dropped it, they can make their minds as my review is with the understanding that that was my impression of it from watching up to that point.
I don't really remember. I haven't checked MAL ina long time. I think I used to rate them anyway, but I am not certain.
