i don't think there is an anime which gives equal screen time for all the main protagonists.

i think akane is the main protagonist of that season in season 2 she is the one who is the main protagonist without a doubt.

She is yes but Kogami is the guy who actually goes after Makishima. So they are both protagonists technically.
