Anime Using Real Humans

Does this exist? How would filmmakers go about making this? I'm thinking maybe they could use advanced 3D computer technology. Nonetheless, is there a way to make it without it, and also make it not corny?

I'm guessing a well made movie of this sort would make a lot in the west - as well as Asia.  However, oddly enough, nobody has tried to do it.  I wonder what's keeping it from reality?

Are you talking about live action by any chance? There are lots of live action based on anime

Bakemonogatari has a few shots featuring real humans. I'm watching it right now, and its visual aesthetic is unique, something I've never seen before.

It's a lot of talking, and like really abstract visuals. Just a heads-up.
It's also one of the best selling anime in Japan(all of its sequels are), and pretty popular outside too.

If you end up liking it make sure you watch the rest of the series in the right order. Google will help you.

How many series are there in it? I don't want to watch more than 100 episodes. Technical Suwako told me not to trust Google

That's regarding opinions. Watch orders are like facts. You just need to know about when each series got released, and watch them appropriately.

Okay thanks bit you don't give me the episodes number I will go ask Google for that too

It is strange that with kids movies, animation is dead, it's all computer 3D art or computer 3D art with humans.  However, though, anime is still all drawn and also magna.  So why is this the case?

I don't get it at all. What is your question? How can anyone draw anime? It's clearly animation and frames

3D costs a lot of money, and the mistake Japan does is they direct 3D anime like 2D anime, meaning they miss frames in between key frames and while it doesn't impact the viewing experience in a 2D anime, it doubles down and looks really bad in 3D. But, there's have been some that impressed me. Like Houseki no Kuni, a TV anime from Fall 2017, and the new Batman Ninja movie, which has phenomenal 3D animation, anime-style.

I did notice that 3D are not popular but honestly, I don't remember watching any till now. CGI, is it different from 3D? Like god eater, freedom and such?

I see, then I assume that's why it's got better animation. I wonder if attack on titan, ajin are also good examples of 3D animation. May I have a bad example of 3D animation?
