Anime that you were warned about ( Horror Stories)

I've heard horrible things about certain kinds of anime in other anime forums. But one that I've heard the worst of the worst was Boku No Pico. People have warned me never to lay eyes on this anime. I've seen photos, and it was enough to stay away :D
 
Free! is an anime I've been warned about.............Are you talking about horror stories or horrible stories?
 
I guess to me it is School Days. I've seen enough negative comments about it =) And it is an anime that will never make my 'To watch' list :3
 
Since I'm not going to watch Boku No Pico, I'm curious as to what the anime is about. I'm just not that curious to go buy it or dig it up at youtube.

I haven't seen it, but I'm pretty sure it is just some kind of pornography with young male characters.

Come on, what makes Free so horrible : D I mean, you are are not the targeted audience here, so you probably don't need to watch it, but there is no reason to be afraid of it =)

I wonder what did those comments say =) School days, from what I've heard, is an uninspired anime adaptation of a visual novel where a guy cheats on a lot of girls. That doesn't sound like a horrible show, just a not very interesting one, right? Then at the end (SPOILER ALERT) one of the girls he cheats on kills him, or so I was told. I think that is the reason almost no one likes the show - the only people who can get through the whole thing in the first place are the fans of the genre, and they weren't happy about this event =) But I think it actually is an interesting twist for such a generic show. But it still is not interesting, definitely isn't worth the time (in my opinion).

I guess I am not the targeted audience either XD I'm staying away from that anime too :3

I heard the story too. I do like the twist at the end but I am not willing to watch the anime just for that ending. I might have watched it if they showed how the girl is going to end up after killing him. It would have been interesting. The girl is just a normal school going kid until she killed that guy. It might have done some damage to her and seeing the girl deal with what she had done would have been interesting :full:
 
Okay, I did look up Boku No Pico, it is a male cross dressing hentai. I think someone was just jacking with me about it.

Sure. You don't automatically like every show that has undressed female characters in it, do you? So why would it be different for girls? =) Free has its audience, but of course it is not every girl. Also I believe there were guys (mostly reviewers) who watched it and didn't think it was awful. None of them said it was good though xD

So much prejudice :P None of us even knows what that anime is about ^. ^ I mean, besides swimming. There has to be some sort of story to it, I suppose :/

That is way to much to expect from a show like that : D But you're right, that would be interesting if done the right way =)

Okay =) I haven't seen it, so I don't have any feelings about it. I have this weird habit, when I see a show being criticized for reasons that I don't think are just, I would defend it, even if I myself don't like the thing. And vice versa, when I see something being praised for wrong reasons it makes me want to jump in and argue =)
But if I ever get to watching Free I don't think I would dislike it, it probably would be pretty funny.
 
@[Sindar] Well, either of us have not watched it..........And, I am not even criticising it.........All I am saying is that I was warned about it.........But, you are defending it and almost, praising it...........

Ouch! I guess I am prejudiced :huh: Free! probably has some plot. I don't wanna know what it is about though ._. I would rather watch Lina torture people XDD

I guess. But the anime would have had more audience that way ._.

i have been warned about homophobic pricks and their comments about many anime. may be you are not one, but what you said about boku no pico is not entirely good.
