Anime, that were better than it's source material?

Any anime which is better than its source material like manga or any other light novel?

Some of the comedies are more fun to actually watch than read, and I've noticed that more with yonkoma/4 panel manga where the anime can either add on to the gag, or it just being animated makes it funnier.

For me it's usually about the visual, like HxH and Attack on Titan. I never too fond of how anime adaptation change some things from the original material

I do agree with gag anime. I enjoyed watching Kyou Kara ore wa anime a lot when compared to the manga

But when it comes to gag anime, it makes the plot all the more interesting

Some anime can be great, even in gag anime. I am usually not a fan of such gag anime myself
