Anime that doesn't have much story...

Well, there are some anime that I have watched which doesn't have much story to go on. Like AKB0048. It's a musical anime and it doesn't have a story. It's very boring ...and half of the time...I really wanted to drop that anime.
The same goes to some other musical anime as well. Like love live.
 
Did you think Love Live was gonna be a life-changing anime that was gonna influence how you listen and perceive the magic that is music, when you started watching it? 
I don't mind anime that don't have a "story" as long as the episodes themselves are done well(which are called episodic shows). Like Samurai Champloo, Cardcaptor Sakura, Blood Blockade Battlefront, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders Season 1 and 2, and any good slice of life or comedy anime.
 


Come on...I haven't watched all that anime you have mentioned...but I have watched Samurai champloo and it has a story and a mission for both mugen and the other guy.
It's not exactly an anime with no story like akb.

I never watched AKB0048, so I can't say. But Love Live does have a deep story of a group of girls struggle to save their school and their own personal problems.

Well, to be honest...I don't think those struggles....are ....well, struggles.
If anything, they are just exaggerating. It's a musical anime...but even K-On got a good story when compared to love live.

They pretty much mention that in passing, and that plot comes to shape only in the last 3 episodes.

Yup. But still it is better than nothing right?
I liked it and I enjoyed it.
 
every anime got some story or something to make it interesting. you can't say something isn't good without even thinking that it might have something going for it. only hentai doesn't have story
 
If they are good enough to engage people for their duration then they don't need much story man.
I wouldn't mind watching them
