Anime songs vs anime background music

I do usually like anime background music too. Naruto's background music is really good. I prefer anime songs though.
What about you?

I don't leave off anything and I like to hear everything what I feel like at that moment

I like songs for lots of anime I haven't watched, like gintama it has so many nice opening songs. I'll check out some one piece ones.

You are forgetting about many other good songs and what you liked might not be liked by others.
But I agree with you man. One piece songs are really good

It's rare that I like a vocal-less background song, but once in a great while there is a good one.

I guess OP's are effective in the first few episodes when it can get you into the mood for the series but it sorta gets tired if you watch it episode after episode unless the song is really good and the visuals are really impressive.
And since background music isn't exactly an "anime" thing and is universal to entertainment media I appreciate it when it's noticeable and is good but I also don't go out of my way to search for it since its purpose is to supplement whatever is happening on-screen.

I'm the same unless I really really like the OP I will only watch it once and then skip it every time but online there is some big thing to not skip the OP but it is just a waste of time if you're watching something very long.

I usually keep watching it for like 3-4 weeks for the song to set in, and if I'm watching it weekly I don't skip it more often that not but I skip it if I'm binge-watching.

Yeah I think it goes for most anime like banana fish I liked the first OP but not the second OP but I liked both the EDs.

didn't banana fish had only one opening song which i thought could be english at first.
