Anime should be scarce?

like if it's less, then the seasons and all would be able to gain more popularity
is that how you all feels?

I am not sure what you mean by that.
It shouldn't be too scarce and it shouldn't be too much either. Present situation looks good.

Scarcity is only going to limit the types of shows that come out. It's like in the 90's when not a lot of anime got localized in America, and the handful we got were all very similar.

true lol but if there are too many anime getting released and all then people wouldn't allow much time to judge them
if they are not impressed, they immediately move on

50 different shows per season is overkill especially for the animators so I agree.
lol and here i thought you would say something about anime would be getting appreciated more
but you are thinking of animators here?

Good anime is good irrespective of the number of shows out there.

lol true that
but with less anime, an above average anime, can get more attention. don't you agree with that?

It really depends. In most cases, the producers of the anime; like regular tv show producers; they have targets they want to hit, in terms of numbers of people watching, and advertising. If they feel like they will get the numbers, they will continue to produce, regardless of an overabundance of them.

Though I do agree that they should atleast make an attempt to limit how many are released every year.
