Anime of 2017

Anything interesting last year worth mentioning?  How would you compare it to the anime of other time periods?  Do you think it was special?

Seem to be the year of the young girly like animes with Little Witch Academia, Saga of Tanya the Evil and Princess Principal along with Dragon maid. Overall 2017 aired some great series.

It's nothing like that. Every season we have some good anime mixed with bad and exceptional anime. It's always like that
