Anime/Genre you used to look down on but now you like/love it?

there is no such genre for me but right from the get go, i am not into bl. i can give you that much.

I would day it's Shonen ai
Never liked this genre at the beginning but after watching and reading a few of the stories, I got hooked to it completely

It would most likely be Shojo ai anime because in the beginning I never really liked it but now, I simply can't get enough of it anytime I watch it.

Sports genre is actually my hotshot for now. If you had asked me this question a year back, I would have told you that I truly hate this genre. But after watching Slam Dunk and some other series of this category, I am really fond of this now.
