Anime from Outside Japan

How about anime in the West or in other parts of Asia?  How about anime in places like Europe or Africa?  Do you think, if it does exist, that it would be any good?  Would it look drastically different than from what we see in Japan?  Finally, is the trend of non-Japanese anime increasing?

Well, technically, any animated production produced outside Japan is not considered anime. So, that can't happen. However, there have been many animated series that have taken inspiration from certain style and tropes that can be seen in anime. The most famous example of that would be the excellent Avatar: The Last Airbender series.

If I recall correctly, Winx Club looks very Japanese anime-like, but it's actually Italian.
And we have a term called "Danish cartoons" to refer to the most classic types of animations next to "American cartoons".

Not sure if any other animation films that didn't come from Japan, Italy, America, and maybe Denmark have been as widespread before though.

Besides Winx club and Last airbender, I would also consider Code Lyoko a good type of anime which is a French production animation.

Are they included in anime streaming websites? We are taking about anime and it's only in Japan

Depends on the definition. For people outside Japan, anime denotes anything animated produced in Japan. For people living in Japan, anime is anything animated, be it from Japan or outside.

Anime is really nothing more than a shortened word for "animation".
アニメーション → アニメ, like so.
And whether series are being included on anime streaming websites or not is irrelevant, anime might not be included on such sites too, even when it's from Japan.

On the other hand, Japanese TV also airs stuff like Tom & Jerry, Bugs Bunny, et al.
Does that make those series Japanese anime too?

Edit:
More flaws in your sentence "anime is only in Japan".
Series such as Pokemon or Dragon Ball get broadcasted in the west too, does that mean those are no longer anime?

I just said what i know. You don't have to be defensive about this. When I type anime in google it only says that Japanese animation is called anime and it's japanimation. So, it's not entirely my fault that I misunderstood.

I'm not defending, I just wanted to make sure you understood too.

And don't trust Google too much, it applies a filter bubble to everyone, whether you like it or not.
For example, when I search for up to date news about western Europe, I might get entirely different content from what somebody in America might get.
Same thing with anime; Google spies on you wherever you go, so it already knows what you think what anime means, so tries to only give you the results based on that.

Which by the way is the reason why I prefer Duck Duck Go over Google.

You would get the answers fast with Google. That's why I use it and I heard of the duck duck go search engine. It doesn't store any data of us right?

Duck Duck Go indeed doesn't store data.
A nice second one would be Qwant, which is owned by a French company (and therefore has a big French community, which isn't all too bad if you don't use it for anything other than searching online).

But this is what I was referring to regarding Google:

Thanks for that never knew my ignorance extends to this much. How do you know so this?

I don't really have an obvious explanation for my knowledge, it's really a matter of discovering that there's more than just what the media tells you, and the truth is mostly hidden away from the general public too.
And leaks from the more well known sources like Edward Snowden and WikiLeaks (and other sources that have a history of a full 100% accuracy) helped me contribute to question the authorities, and ended up learning even more nearly automatically.

Isn't WikiLeaks down now? I heard that it lost it's funds after exposing some major things about a popular company

Just checked again, and WikiLeaks is up and accessible.
