Anime first and then manga, or vice versa?

I watched Akame first and then the manga but i've recently done manga first and then anime 

Which way would you do it?

i usually go with anime first
if i like it a lot then i will probably go with manga later but never the other way until now

I'm still hit and miss over which i prefer haha! I started reading a manga last night but then thought the anime would be better

It depends what i'm reading really. There's times i can be really invested in a Manga and time flies by
