From being very weak to strong but there has to be a good reason for the transition.
What is the cliche that you would never get tired of, in anime?

I do like that.
Getting the top position by starting at the lowest point is fun to watch and gives us motivation as well

and like star said there has to be a trigger for the protagonist to gain the power or it would be the worst cliche lol
