Anime aired on TV station

In my country, anime used to aired once per week per series, so we watch different series everyday. This pattern use for years, until around 1996 or 1997 when new TV station operated, they start a new pattern of one episode per day per series

This pattern still used in mid 2000's but i don't know if still use now. I like this pattern because we don't have to wait one week to enjoy next episode. I think.. this pattern is what lead me into my binge habit

Thankfully here in the states we still have Toonami airing anime every Saturday, I think cartoon network might air an odd anime show here and there, but mostly you won't find tv stations airing them much anymore.

Eh.. only every Saturday? No anime in weekdays..

Most of the people don't know that it's anime here.
Shin Chan is very popular here and everyone believes that it's a cartoon

Actually most people still don't know the difference of anime and cartoon. You like Shin Chan Hope?

Back when I had cable, there used to be stuff that came on every afternoon right after school would get out. Idk about nowadays, as I haven’t had cable in two years, and I’m also usually at work during those hours, I have no idea if that even exists anymore.

Toonami still exists, but I couldn’t tell you what’s on there, and when I do, I’ve already completed the show before it’s aired on there.
