Wow, really!? Maybe it's just my age but I always thought of Akira as the definitive anime movie, beloved by all. Give yourself a couple of hours to watch the above Youtube video. It's the full movie with english subtitles.

I hate dubbed movies, I think you lose so much of the 'vibe' by sticking american accents on top of Japanese animations. It's a real turn off. Plus, have you noticed subtitles make you actually pay attention to what's going on?

It must be the same age as Dragon Ball. I will look into it man.
