Agni character discussion

he is the servant or butler of soma.
he is a human. he is loyal to the Indian prince and his culinary skills rivals that of sebastian. hell his normal power might rival to that of sebastian. he is a kind man with immense power.

what do you peeps think about this character?
 
He is a really interesting character. As a butler he is really efficient and without any demonic powers he is the ultimate rival of sebastian.

Agni... pretty curious because this character's power is built purely on the belief. On the other hand other characters such as Sebastian has a pretty good reason for his power (he's demon, well may not sound logical but in this serie, it's logical :D). Wonder if it is based on the "inner power" theory of human :p.

I don't know how they even picked up the Hindu concept but I heard that one form of power is devotion and that's what adni possess. He is devoted to his prince.

Sounds like the power of believing and protecting your friend, lol. Like many fighting mangas have that kind of idea.

I agree wwith that all the anie have uite emotional battles. but agni is special as he can compete with sebastian even though seb is not quite human

If there us a battle betwween agni and sebastian, who do you think will win?

If it is a duel (I mean fair and square) then I think it's a draw, but when it comes to business (for example, Ciel's underworld work or a fight to the death) then I think Sebastian is going to win, I mean his priority is the safety of the young master, and second, the completion of his task so I think Seb will do anything to win, even "dirty" mean.

I can see the reasoning there. Do you really think ciel would have used any underhanded method to support the queen is she is bad?

Interesting question, for now I can't sure. In manga there is actually a hint about the queen of being "bad"? But I think you dun want to see spoiler :D.

But on the other hand, isn't it interesting to play a 'game' alongside with a 'young master'. I mean demons are immortal, what do they do to get out of their boring life after a longgggg time eating, hunting souls.
