Action manga have better chance to get animated

I do get impression that action genre have better chance to get animated than other genres.. please note that i use word 'get impression' as i never actually do proper research about this

Talk about manga.. i think they are vast number of other genres being produced, like drama, slice of life, psychology, romance, yaoi.. but when it comes to anime i do get the impression that more than half of it is action, which mean there is battle or fight on it

Well.. if i think about it, who want to watch anime without some fights/battles on it? It's just like a waste to make something into motion animation if all they do is talk. Everyone just want to see cool characters punching each other haha..

Anyway.. i could be wrong but whatever.. i just want to write
 
I think there’s a good mix of different stuff that does get animated each season. I think what might give you the impression it’s really only action series getting animated may be based off of what you’re into and who you interact with. If all you and your friends watch is action based stuff, and very little talk about other genres are brought up, you get the impression that there isn’t a lot of other things being animated.

I remember 10 years ago when there were two camps of anime fans, the camp that only knew and cared about maybe a dozen anime had no idea about the slice of life and romcom popularity boom that was happening at the same time.
 

You know.. you could be right, in anime i mostly watch action genre, and as my source of information of anime.. i used to read magazine where they cover not only action genre but other genres as well, but that was so long ago. Now my anime manga circle is this forum, and another one which is not specifically anime manga forum, and mainly the hot topic is action genre haha..

It can't be help since the most popular shounen is action like Naruto, more or less this is what mold people's mindset

I have watched Hyouka, i like it, and i never realized it was that popular haha..
