I found out that most people (that i know) who like this genre is girls. Example.. Angel and Rinko, and i do some research outside this forum, and most of this genre fans are girls. Well i can understand this somehow haha.. like.. they are girls, of course they like to see the guys 'in action'

Same reason with Yuri's fans are mostly guy. So i guess it's highly correlated with sexual preference

I think it’s because yaoi is written by girls, for girls, so it’s basically a females interpretation of it, and it caters to how girls want to see a gay relationship. Yuri is just the popposite, the male fetishization of lesbians.

Bars is actually written by and/for gay guys, but idk if there is a lesbian equivalent and I just don’t know the name of it.
