About Light Novels...

So, I love to write and create stories, on paper, on a computer, on RPG Maker, you name it, but there's a genre I have never try to create something to.

And that is Light Novels.

Now, here's the thing, I've being reading some light novels in the past couple of weeks or so, and I have come to realize something, I've notice a lot of LN are written (or should i say translated) in a first person view, we read what the main character thinks and does, and everything that happens around it, and there are some LN that are written in a third person view, a narrator describes what's happening and what the characters are thinking.

So my question is, do you think there's one correct way to write a Light Novel? Because to me looks like a challenge to write something in firs person view, so i found it interesting :D

I don't have any such preferences. Narration or the single view can be very interesting, if done right.
That's how I feel

I assume you can go about it in any way you want, but then again can someone make a manga that reads left to right?

Not sure about LN's, haven't read them but writing everything from someone's perspective usually works better for me in novels in general, although the perspective itself has to be switched between characters from time to time for it to not become boring.

Yes. Unless that character is very annoying.
I don't remember the name but I have dropped an anime as the narration is long and boring.

Yeah it's a big issue, if you don't like the main character it's gonna be problematic.

And I can get through narration in books you know it's just reading you can speed run through it but when it comes to visual media it can be a chore. That's why I prefer original anime, they don't have any baggage from manga or LNs which tend to have lots of narration.

Original anime?
I am lost. I don't understand that statement. Sorry.

Anime that aren't based on anything and are entirely original. Madoka, Kill la Kill, Evangelion, Psycho-Pass are some examples.
