I like when they change up their outfits some but the reason they don't is because it would be too costly to draw al those changes for every eps of anime or every chapter of manga.

The maid thing is about giving up control. It's a dom and sub thing without the whips and leather. The bunny girl thing is about letting go and doing something crazy and releaseing your inhibitions.
