Playstation is going all digital starting 2028

Unfortunately Sony made the announcement that starting in 2028 they will no longer be making physical games and all games coming to Playstation consoles will be digital only. The PS5 will be the last playstation console with a disc drive, and it will also be the last Playstation console I own. I'm not happy about this news. Many gamers aren't either.

Yeah Sony has been doing some shady things, they can also delete your profile if you haven't logged into your account in 36 months so once they go all digital that means you have a chance of losing the games in your library. I heard this is only happening in the UK, but this shouldn't happen at all since life events happen and people might have to sell their PS5 and won't be able to log into their account for a while. :\

Yeah it's crazy what's going on over in the UK. :S Another thing that's not good about an all digital future, when the internet is down you won't be able to play your games. This happened to me last Monday, my wife and I couldn't play our digital games on the Series S and PS5. Since the games couldn't connect with the server to get our save data, they refused to open.
